«A huge thank you to the developers. Both of my children learned to read thanks solely to this app; they barely had any other lessons. Friends of ours sent their children to preschool classes and they still cannot read, while with this app everything is easy, interesting and effective! In the settings, I chose learning to read by syllables; I think that is the better approach.»

From letter sounds to independently read words
“Learn to Read Russian and Ukrainian” turns early reading practice into an animal-rescue adventure. The Snow Queen has frozen the magic letters and captured the animals. To free each one, children build its name and hear the sound of every letter they place.
The game offers two learning modes. Beginners can assemble words one letter at a time to connect symbols with sounds and understand how words are formed. When they are ready, children can switch to short syllables and read each word in manageable parts.
After rescuing the animals, children can practise again in a picture quiz by matching a written or spoken prompt to the correct photograph. The same vocabulary returns in a new activity, reinforcing recognition without repetitive drills.
Both Russian and Ukrainian are available. Simple controls, spoken guidance and words that gradually become longer let children learn at their own pace.
- Early reading practice in Russian and Ukrainian
- Two modes: building words from letters or syllables
- Letter sounds played while each word is assembled
- Animal names of increasing length and difficulty
- Picture quiz for reinforcing reading skills
- Stars and a cheerful reward after completed levels
- Four learning levels in the free version
- All 16 levels in the full version
Start with short words in letter mode, then revisit a familiar level with syllables when your child is ready for the next step.

What parents say
Real reviews from families who already chose this game for their kids.
«Thank you to the developers for this app! My son is 3 years and 8 months old. He already knew the alphabet, but it was thanks to this app that he learned to put letters together into words. We happily use the app for 30–40 minutes every evening. He asks me to open it every time. It would be great if the words and pictures could be updated from time to time. Thank you.»
«Good, clear pronunciation. Expressive, high-quality images. Everything is structured step by step, with reinforcement of the material already covered. It is fun to catch the mischievous little letters and put them in their places.»
